Welcome to CoachMe Triathlon
Satisfied with mid pack? We're NOT!!!

We are a group of Triathletes who are currently coaching or being coached. Like most of our community, we were disappointed with the lack of available coach options so we decided to do something about it.

Some time ago we set up a local coach community that offered the ability for local 'Stars' to coach and support local 'Athletes' who were looking for a cost effective, impactful way of improving their performance. This has been such a success we decided we would take the concept and build this service for all of the 'Stars' and 'Athletes' out there that were looking for a way to help each other out.

CoachmeTri: Congratulations to all of the coachme triathlon athletes who rocked out orangeman sunday! Everyone did awesome! Orangeman.com

CoachmeTri: Hosted a great group of athletes at Diablo Man clinic, what an intense race this will be, who's up for a vertical challenge? Trifreaks.com

Wanting To Coach?

So you want to coach?

There are many coaches in the world of Triathlon, these coaches are generally really good and work with high level athletes like you, to bring you from placing top ten in your age group, to qualifying for Kona.

What about the rest of the 75% of athlete’s who are looking to improve on their performance from middle or back of the pack, to being 20% ahead of last years time? These athletes simply need a helping hand, a set of guidelines, pointers on their areas for improvement, aid with building plans, mainly they need someone like you to teach them the ropes. This will then allow the athletes to learn about how to make improvements to their times, their swim stroke, running cadence etc, and more importantly understand why. For example, I recall the time I moved from 10 minute miles to 8 minute miles simply by changing my posture and cadence based on a friends advice.

Finding A Coach

So you want a coach?

Many people who are using coachme have previously tried working with USAT and other high level coaches out there. There are many good coaches, who for $$$ per month, motivate and work well with athletes who are, for instance, looking for a Kona slot, but let's face it, for most of us, that is not why we are in Triathlon.

We are looking for an improvement over last year's race, or to improve against our gym buddies, or to simply finish running not walking, standing not crawling. We put as much effort into this sport as everyone else does, we simply have to work with the disposable time we have.  Sure the Pro's can put in 30 hours of training per week, as we could with the financial situation to do so right? many of us have families, mortgages, bosses and real world commitments that allow us to sneak 4-12 hours per week into Triathlon.
